Major Milestones in the Daniel House

The past few weeks have been filled with major accomplishments in the Daniel house. First is Walker started sleeping through the night!! YAY!! I will be honest, I didn't post about it because I was afraid it might curse us and he would stop. (That's my luck!) But he has been doing it for almost 2 weeks now, the only one night of not. Second, Walker is sleeping in his crib in his room!! We moved him from his cradle in our room to his crib on Sunday night. His first night was a little rough, however, I don't think it had anything to do with him being in his crib. The next night he did perfect. His usual bedtime at 8pm and waking up at 6am!! I did sleep in the guest room the first two nights! He does great and I think he really likes his bed!

Another milestone that hasn't taken place yet is our first road trip!! We are going to see Pops run the Nashville marathon this weekend! I will let you know how our first road trip goes when we return.

Last major milestone that also has not taken place yet is Mommy returning to work and Walker going to the sitter. We are NOT looking forward to this milestone, but know it has to happen. Walker is going to love playing with all the other children and the sitter and Mommy will be thinking about him ALL DAY!! I know the first few days are going to be really hard for ME, but once I do it I think it will be better. I mean I do only work 3 days a week! It could be alot worse!

Walker's First Easter

Walker had a great first Easter! He got a lot of goodies from grandparents and aunts! I did not get pictures of everything but I did my best with a 9 week old. We did not even get to go through his Easter basket from Mommy and Daddy until Monday afternoon!

Kriston and Ellison's Visit

The weekend before Easter, Kriston and Ellison came to visit. When Walker was born they did not get a lot of one on one time with us so they came back for a weekend visit devoted just to little Walker and I. We really enjoyed having them here. It was really funny to see Ellison with Walker. Everything Walker did Ellison had to do too! I have attached some pictures below.

I have some major updating to do! Walker has been growing and changing so much, I try to take pictures of him often so I can see the changes in him. I can't believe he is 9 weeks old today! Where has the time gone? People keep telling me to enjoy every minute of him because before I know it he will be grown. I can believe it!! He is growing so fast and I feel like the days are just flying by!!

weighed 10lbs 5oz at his 8 week dr. appointment. This puts him in the 10th percentile for his weight. He was 23 1/4 inches long, which puts him in the 50% for length. He is definitely going to be a tall boy. Most of his newborn clothes can not be worn anymore because he is too long for them. If I put them on him, he can not straighten out his legs. He was such a trooper when he got his shots! He did cry but as soon as I picked him up he stopped!! My little boy has had a few choking episodes so the pediatrician diagnosed him with reflux. Since then, we have been doing several things to prevent him from choking anymore and they are working so far! We are very thankful for this!! Walker at 6 weeks old!!

I just love this picture!! He is such a cutie!!
Another favorite!! Daddy loves him so much!
Walker's little feet on our first very warm day in March! 78 degrees outside!!
I love his bare baby feet!
Walker went to see the Easter Bunny!! As you can see he was REAL excited about it! He slept through the whole thing. Oh well, we have a great picture and that is all the matters!

Walker is beginning to stay awake alot more during the day. We enjoy playing under his jungle gym and looking at his self in the mirror that Aunt Kriston, Uncle Jason, and cousin Ellison gave him for Easter. He is really starting to move alot more also. He gets so excited and gets his arms and legs just a moving.
