My life is back!

As most of you know, I have been taking summer school classes for the last 3 weeks. My life has pretty much been nonexistent for 3 weeks. My daily routine was work from 7 am until 3pm and then come home and do school work until about 9 pm. I also had school on Saturday and Sunday! YUCK! Well, I am done with those classes now and I am so glad to have my life back. I have missed having dinner with Brent and going to the gym. I am so out of shape from missing the gym for such a long period of time. But this week I have started back and it is kicking my butt, but I deserve it. P.S. I received A's in both of my classes. YAY!

Brent's Surprise Birthday Party

Papaw, Brent & Mamaw Brent's New Grill from Me Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream cake June 3, 2009 was Brent's 27th birthday. I decided this year we were going to do something for his birthday. Every year I ask him what he wants to do for his birthday and he says "It is just another day, I don't want to do anything." How boring. So this year I called all of his family and friends and put together a surprise party for him. Everyone was here when he go off work and he said he saw some cars placed throughout the neighborhood and he knew something was up. But he did not know the number of people in the house. He had a great time and we really enjoyed spending time with family and friends!

Today is Brent's 27th Birthday! WOW!

How time flies! It is hard to believe we started dating at the age of 18 and 19. It seems like forever ago. I must say, he is the best fiance in the world. He spoils me rotten and treats me like a queen. If I want it, most of the time I get it. He surprises me all the time. Even though he had to work today, I hope he has a great birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRENT!!

Sorry for the slacking

I know it has been a while since I posted anything on here, but I have been very busy with school. I am taking 2 classes over a 3 week period. They are fast track classes. It is a normal semester class taken in 14 days. Not to mention, I am still working full time and trying to plan a wedding. I will post more once I am done with school on Wednesday. Hope everyone is having a great week!

Hard work in the yard

Brent and I have been working hard in the yard already this year! Of course, it makes it alot easier to work in when it belongs to you!! I have spent several weekends making our flower bed look good and planting lots of flowers! I love to have alot of flowers in the summer. It makes your yard so pretty. My favorite flowers are the petunias in the back flower bed. They are the wave kind so I can't wait until they start to spread. My inpatients are already spreading like crazy. If I could just keep the chipmunks out of our beds I would be doing good. You would think with a 100 pound rottweiler in the back yard, they would be scared to come out, but they are not. I have holes all over the place. I asked Brent if there was something we could put out to make them stop and he said, "yeah, it's called a BB gun" I don't want to hurt them, just want them to stop digging in my flower beds. I am up for any suggestions.

Wedding News

We are counting down until the big day! We have a few more things to make decisions on, but for the most part, we have it all planned out. Kriston has helped me get thank you notes already and napkins for the reception. I just love how they turned out! They are so cute and it makes me excited to start getting things in we have ordered. We sent off to have the bridesmaids dresses ordered last week and I can't wait to see them. I have only seen them in black, so I am so ready to see them in the coral color I picked.

A little bit of Ellison

Of course, I have to talk about Ellison for a little bit! She is growing up so fast! I was talking with Kriston on the phone a couple of days ago and she was just talking and then out of no where she just starting laughing! It was the funniest thing I have ever heard. I love to talk to her on the phone when I call and talk to Kriston. Sometimes she will talk back to me, but mostly she just listens. I can't wait for the day when she can say "aunt Whitney, can I come stay with you for the weekend" Speaking of staying with me for the weekend, I am sooooo looking forward to July. Kriston and Jason meet up with some college friends in Pickwick every year in July. I am going to meet them and get Ellison and bring her back home with me. I can't wait. I am going to take her shopping and buy her all kinds of things. The little things in life we look forward to.

School Update

I am finished with school for this semester! YAY!! I have two weeks off and then start back on May 17. This is just a pre-summer session and will only last 3 weeks. This will be a very crazy and busy 3 weeks but it will all be worth it when it is over. Only 3 weeks and I will have 3 classes out of the way!

5 months and counting!!

Brent and I have started counting down the days until the wedding. We can't wait and are so excited! We hope everyone is not having any trouble with booking condos or finding places to stay. So far everyone is staying at the SunDestin Beach Resort. I think we are going to have so much fun with everyone being in the same place. If anyone needs help with booking a condo or hotel please let us know.

Brent and I have great news! We are getting married on September 26, 2009 in DESTIN FLORIDA!! YAY! This day has special meaning to us because it will be 1 year from the day we got engaged. We hope everyone can make the trip to Destin, but understand if people can not make the trip. We want this weekend to just be fun and laid back. No drama or stress. Hope to see everyone there!
