This past weekend Walker and I made the trip to Knoxville for Ellison 2nd Birthday. We left on Thursday and arrived late afternoon in Knoxville. Walker did great on the car ride and I was so glad since this was the first trip we have ever made by ourselves. On Friday, which was Ellison actual birthday, we got up and enjoyed breakfast and then made our way to the Mall to do fun stuff with Ellison. We started out at Build-A-Bear, where Ellison made a Ladybug and named her "Lady". She really enjoyed making her and picking out her clothes. Of course, she picked out her shoes first and then we had to match the outfit to the shoes. Typical girl! Then we headed over to the food court and had some chick-fil-a for lunch. Ellison was able to have ice cream from there for the first time after some investigation from the managers to see if it had egg in it or not. Then we just did some shopping and returned home to open presents after dinner. Saturday afternoon we went to Ellison's Birthday Party. We had such a great time. It was at a local gymnastics place where Ellison goes every Wednesday to open gym. It was perfect for all ages. Walker even had blast. All the kids played so hard and just ran around everywhere. It was so hard to get good pictures of them because they were all running from one thing to the next. Sunday morning we woke up early and headed back to Memphis. Just in time too, because we got lots on snow on Sunday night!
Happy Birthday to my sweet little Ellison. You are truly a blessing to our family and I can't believe you are already 2 years old. It seems like just yesterday I was flying down I-40 to get to the hospital to meet your sweet little face. I love you with all my heart.

As a mama, I, of course, think I have the cutest kid in the world. But I have to say, Walker comes in a close second! ;-) He just keeps getting cuter and cuter, and I love his smile!
